Hi, due to technical issues, Blethr 2.0 is currently unavailable. However, we are working on resolving the issue.

What are the technical difficulties?

Basically, our internet service provider, the company that gives Blethr 2.0 access to the internet and acts as our gateway to the World Wide Web by managing the physical infrastructure (cables, towers) that connects Blethr 2.0, is under a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack, similar to other companies that have recently been affected. But here the goal is to make an online service inaccessible (denial of service) rather than steal data (as we don't collect data, and our security is secure). So other companies will be affected.

This is not a Blethr issue - it's working absolutely as architected and implemented. The issue is that it can't be accessed from the outside world, as the DDOS attacks are killing the service provider's bandwidth and disrupting TCP/IP traffic.

As you can appreciate, this is extremely frustrating, given all the hard work that has been put into the new project. However, we need to keep at it, and are exploring alternative service providers. We will update you accordingly.

Thanks, Dan, Ian and Neil
